What is a Hero?

Okay, so, I obviously haven't been posting for about a year or two. It's been a long time. So, this post is a catch up sort of update thingy. I've been doing an online class and in the student showcase one teacher had their class write a paper on what a hero is. It sounded really cool so I decided to try it out. So, this post is my opinion on what a hero is.

What is a Hero?
That's a good question, I mean, when we think of a hero we think of Superman, Batman, Knights in shining armor, that sort of thing. But what is a hero really?
I think it kind of depends on what kind of hero you're thinking of. There's, like I said before, Superman, Batman and stuff but then there's George Washington and Jesus Christ who are heroes but we never really give the exact title 'hero' to. And of course there are the everyday heroes in our lives: parents. Now, that might sound silly but really think about it. Who gets our food and clothes? Who protects us and teaches us? Who wants the best for us? Our parents. (And Heavenly Father. Note: it says 'Father')
So, I have to say that it depends what kind of hero you're thinking of. The everyday heroes or the ones that save the world? The fireman who gets the cat out of the tree or the police who captures the murderer? The person who teaches you to look both ways before crossing the street or the FBI or CIA?
Think about it. Who is your hero?

So, I realize that I never really gave my description of a hero but really of what kind of heroes there are out there, but that's just as important.
Maybe next time I post, I'll post some of the story that I'm writing. That is, if I remember.
